This visualization presents an original LiDAR-based terrain map alongside a redesigned interpretation inspired by Harold Fisk’s 1944 Mississippi River meander maps. As part of a broader study on river migration and landscape change, the redesign builds on Fisk’s approach by layering geomorphic features and conceptual time to reveal how terrain records long-term river movement.
