The iconic Amul stores that complete every neighborhood “Mohallah” beautifully represent this idea of genuine involvement.Amul has been a constant in my life and a consistent presence since the earliest parts of my memory. However, Amul's importance goes beyond its product line. My early memories are deeply rooted in the quaint nostalgia of the old Amul stores in my Shehar. Even now, I can remember people making the trek to these locations, frequently before morning, in order to secure their daily milk supply. It was more than just a business transaction, it was a treasured rite that brought the Mohallahs, gallis and pols together in the search for a fundamental truth.

These establishments' local community served as a microcosm of society as a whole. It was a place where relationships began, stories were shared, and a strong sense of oneness was tenderly fostered. Amul's distinctive presence emphasizes the power of purposeful contact and the skill of weaving bonds that transcend well beyond the sphere of transactions, much like my pursuits in the fields of design and visual communication.

The sad thing that makes me cry is that there aren't many "zikar" (Recitals) on the internet; this new generation doesn't even have the visuals or the memories to look back on. It wasn't long enough before I realized these stores don't exist any more; only a few have been speared and still work their charm. In the name of modernization and development, these stores have been upgraded to suit the society, but they will never replace the nostalgia and core essence of it. This is just a small effort from my side to bring back the gist of my childhood.
